Highest Quality Standard

Special tools, standard tools or regrinding services – all of our tools are inspected using the latest generation of measuring equipment and the results documented. In this way we can guarantee the highest possible quality standard.

Coating System

With the acquisition of our own coating facility we have become even more flexible. We will increase the performance of our tools even further by the development of new, individual coatings.

The history of our company

2018

  • Implementing of our first own coating facility followed by much higher flexibility.
  • December 2018: 95 employees.

2016-2017

  • Again doubling of production area by new highly modern production building.
  • Rapid increase of machine park.
  • Movement of our engineering office from Altenstadt into new office rooms in Illertissen.
  • December 2017: 85 employees

Start of the planning for the expansion of our production area. We invest in growth and employment, supported by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

2012-2015

  • Continuing growth of machine park
  • More and more international business by cooperation with international sales partners
  • Cooperation with other market players for serving OEM projects
  • December 2015: 70 employees

2009-2011

  • Constant extension of machine park
  • Permanent increase in number of employees. Status August 2011: 35 Employees.
  • Our rapid growth makes necessitates the extension of our production area

2008

  • High investments in machinery and specialists
  • Build-up of production for Solid carbide special tools
  • Opening of the engineering and sales department in Altenstadt / Iller for any kind of cutting tools (Solid carbide/PCD/Insert-type)

2002-2007

Regrinding service for different customers and trading companies.

2001

Foundation of MK-Tools-Service GmbH by Helmut Miller (former owner of Miller Precision Tools) and Stephan Kinateder. The company is providing regrinding service for carbide tools mainly for Edscha group.
